Louis "Big Lou" Zanotti
Bass Guitar / Vocals
The founding member, bassist & vocalist of “Big Louie & The Band”, has been performing for more than 35 years throughout Ontario & Michigan. Louis prides himself on singing & playing all styles of music from Bocelli to Bon Jovi. Honoured to be performing with some of Windsor’s finest professional musicians, “Big Louie” looks forward to playing your next event!
Alysia Therrien
Lead Vocals
Alysia has been singing for over 20 years. She played several leading roles in local community theatre, including Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Demeter in CATS. After winning vocal competitions across Windsor-Essex, she moved to Toronto to train with vocal coach legend Elaine Overholt, who has coached stars such as John Travolta, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Shawn Mendes.
Alysia earned the spot as Lead Vocalist for Norwegian Creative Studios where she travelled and sang across the world on board cruise ships and most recently toured all of Michigan.
Brianna DeSantis
Lead Vocals
Brianna is a Windsor native and is known for her ability to connect with audiences through her artistry and command of the stage. Her love of singing began at the tender age of three where she first sang in her local church choir. Having a diverse musical background has led Brianna in many directions – from classical to pop, musical theatre, and jazz to opera.
Paul Pecora
Percussion / Vocals
Paul began his musical career touring with his first band at the age of 18. In his 35 years of performance experience as a drummer & vocalist, he has appeared in all types of venues, including nightclubs, private, corporate & fundraising events. On any given night, his set lists can range from singing the spectrum of genres from Italian traditional to classic rock to Michael Buble to the Rolling Stones.
David Collins
Guitar / Vocals
David has been playing guitar and singing for over 25 years. As an elementary music teacher, he is able to work with students of all ages in a variety of schools throughout Windsor-Essex County, sharing his passion for vocal and instrumental music. When he is not teaching or performing with Big Louie & The Band, David can often be found singing and playing acoustic guitar at local venues. He and his wife, Janet, perform as “The Two of Us” for weddings and various events.
Brian Zanier
Trumpet / Vocals
Brian is a professional trumpet player who holds degrees from the University of Windsor and McGill specializing in trumpet performance and Music Education. He frequently performs with the Windsor Symphony, Windsor Light Theatre, and is busy as a freelance trumpet player in the Windsor-Detroit area. Brian has backed up performers such as Natalie Cole, Franki Valli, Jann Arden, Regis Philbin, Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra Jr. and most recently Evanescence. Brian and Grant add exciting horn lines to the wide variety of music that Big Louie & The Band performs.
Grant Bergeron
Sax / Vocals
A professional saxophone player, Grant has performed with Big Louie & the Band since 2009. He holds both Honours Music and Education degrees from the University of Windsor, where he studied under Dr. Christopher Creviston. An established veteran, Grant has performed throughout North America and Europe. He has been a Secondary School Music Teacher for over 25 years and currently serves as Arts Dept. Head. Along with Brian, they form one of the best live music horn sections in the area.
Benny Riggi
Keyboards
Benny is a professional pianist and organist and has been performing in the Windsor/ Detroit area for over 20 years. His knowledge and experience performing many different musical styles has made him one of the most sought-after musicians in the area.

Thank you for your music last night at the wedding, it was spot on. Your volume level was excellent as well. Loved the ladies voices. A couple of weeks ago I attended a wedding at the same venue and they had a DJ. We happened to be seated at about the same location for both events. The DJ had one speaker directed at our table and we could not carry on a conversation at our table. When asked to lower the volume and redirect the speaker, he took offense. With your band, we had no trouble conversing at our table or shaking a leg on the dance floor. Thumbs up to the band.
Louie! I cannot thank you enough for providing the entertainment last night. We have been hearing nothing but raving reviews from our guests about you guys. Both Andrew and I said it was the best day of our lives, and the music by the band was the cherry on top!
Big Louie and the Band are phenomenal. There couldn’t be a more professional, fun, and extravagant group of people. I am forever grateful for the things they’ve done at my wedding. Big Louie and the Band are highly suggested for weddings or any event that you want your guests to have great time. The band played at our wedding reception and we could not have been more pleased to have had them provide the entertainment for the night. It was an amazing party, and would not have been the same without them. We, along with most of our guests were on the dance floor all night. The band provides a great song selection, with amazing sound, talent, and energy. If you want to throw a great party, by adding live music to your event, Big Louie and the Band is the way to go.

I've been to two weddings with this band being the entertainment and they both were a blast!! They play such a great selection of songs for all ages and every song is very dance-able! Love them!

You are guaranteed to have a good time if Big Louie and The Band is playing! They are truly a talented and professional group. From the moment we contacted them regarding playing at my dad’s 90th birthday party, Lou did everything in his power to make sure that we got the entertainment we wanted. He responded immediately to any questions that I had and went out of his way to find out exactly what we were looking for. The event itself was flawless. I can’t say enough about this fine group of musicians. My guests had the time of their lives and everyone was happy, dancing, and singing along (not an easy feat considering the age range was 15-91).
